Scientific sculpture of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

apj sculpture.jpg

An amazing scientific sculpture of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam installed in the Science Park of the Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai. The face of the sculpture appears to follows you because of the phenomenon of optical illusion. The angle of the vision shows a perspective changing view of the face to the brain. Though the face is still, it is perceived to move incrementally to the view that follow you. You will get attracted towards the face as if it is starring, especially when you walk by the side of it.
